Covert Public Relations
My family has no idea what I do for a living.
In their eyes, my day-to-day activities are on par with the clandestine activities of a globetrotting CIA agent.
I could be in California hosting an event for my client.
Or, maybe I'm deep under cover in Bahrain tracking the world's most elusive threats to peace.
But the more I think about it, maybe they have inadvertently stumbled on the right track.
If I, a public relations professional, am doing my job properly, they're never going to read about my exploits in the newspaper.
Well, maybe that's not entirely true.
They might read the results of my hard work, but they'll never know it.
And that suits me just fine.
